Authentic loafers that combine elegance with a relaxed feel.
Loafers you can slip on smartly without laces.
Their lightness and refined style are among the reasons they have remained beloved across generations.

Mon Model's Goodyear loafers are an authentic design that combines a classic loafer style with traditional Goodyear welted construction and artisan hand-dyed “Senju-zome.” More than just easy to wear, they offer the pleasure of “growing” a pair over time.
The clean silhouette is complemented by hand-dyed colors with rich depth. Precisely because the design is simple, the leather’s texture, luster, and variations in color stand out. Its appearance changes depending on how the light falls and how long you wear them, gradually developing into a one-of-a-kind presence.

Additionally, the distinctive relaxed feel of loafers adds a light touch to suit styles.
They pair well with jacket styles and denim, making them versatile for a wide range of occasions, both on and off duty.

Neither too casual nor too formal.
These Mon Model Goodyear loafers are designed for adults seeking that perfect balance.
Goodyear welted construction
A method developed in the latter half of the 19th century with machine-based mass production in mind, based on the original hand-sewn technique (hand-sewn welted construction). Its defining feature is that when the upper and sole are stitched together, they are secured through a narrow strip of leather called a welt.
First, the upper, welt, and tape (rib) attached to the bottom of the insole are joined with a stitch-down seam. The welt and outsole are then joined with a through stitch.
Because the upper and outsole are not stitched directly together, rainwater is less likely to seep into the shoe through the sole seams. When the sole wears down, it can be repaired by replacing the entire sole, a process known as a full sole replacement. Although this construction is complex and therefore more costly, the cushioning material (cork) packed between the insole and outsole gradually takes the shape of your foot as you wear the shoes, improving the fit and allowing you to enjoy them for many years as they mold to your feet.
